This course aims to introduce and familiarise delegates to a new or previously unused vehicle and the knowledge required to driving it on British roads so that they can navigate themselves safely and with confidence.

Delegates who complete this course will gain familiarity with their new vehicle and also they will get the opportunity to drive on a public road whilst supervised and advised by our expert trainers.

 

– Can be used as a ‘bolt on’ course onto other courses such as

   slow-manoeuvring, LGV training and driving assessment

– On & off-site training

VEHICLE FAMILIARISATION

The knowledge you should gain from this course includes:

– Excellent knowledge & understanding of the vehicle and all of its features

– Awareness of specific features (Cameras, traction control, ABS and more)

– Fuel type awareness and requirements

– Understanding the vehicle’s characteristics and limitations

– Emergency equipment (wheel brace, spare wheel and more)

– Auxiliary equipment such as sat nav technology
